Most kids love their backpacks and the idea of getting a backpack for Christmas or a birthday.  Some of the more popular backpacks to buy are kids rolling backpacks.  With wheels on your child’s bag it gives them the opportunity to relieve their back and shoulders.  This is a huge advantage during these times when book bags may approach 40 pounds of weight on a regular bases due to the ever increasing homework load.

Kids rolling backpacks come with an extendable handle that is used to pull or push the backpack.  When you buy one of these make sure the wheels appear well made as well as the extendable handle.  Sometimes the handles and wheels do break, especially if the bag is regularly overloaded.  You will also want to make sure your kid’s backpack has enough pockets for its intended use and the zippers are well made.  As well you will want padded and adjustable shoulder straps for the times your child does have to carry their rolling backpack.  They will have to carry it on occasion.

Kids rolling backpacks also make excellent kid’s travel luggage for short trips.  This is another use for wheeled backpacks.  They are easy enough for kids to roll around the airport or hotel and that relieves the parents from carrying an extra bag.  Most young kids love their wheeled backpack because they can easily use it and it makes them feel like they are in charge of something important.

You can check you local stores to purchase and try out kids rolling backpacks, but shopping online gives the best opportunity for a larger variety of backpacks, and usually the prices are better as well.  Your kid will love the idea of a new backpack to call their own and they make great gifts when you are unsure what to get.  Not only that rolling backpacks are very useful and will be something that is used often.
