Even if you home school your kids they will probably need backpacks.  But, even before they get old enough to carry a backpack, you as the future home schooling parent may need a backpack to carry your kid, called a baby backpack, for times you wish to take early learning outdoors, or if you just have to go shopping.

Babies are so curious about their surroundings, as you know.  A hike is perfect to get you exercise and fill your learning babies senses as they relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the woods, in their baby backpack.  The brain is increasing its learning capacity and synapse strength from birth.  It is important you get your child out for some fresh air, especially if you can combine something that peaks their senses like a hike.  Even a city hike is a learning experience as they take in the atmosphere and visual impact. When your young learner gets tired they can simply nap right there in the baby backpack.

Some of these types of backpacks also double as a baby seat, when you remove it and turn it over.  You can have an excellent day out getting some early baby learning in, your own exercise, bonding with your child as well as picnicking for lunch.
